Supplies and Services Department, Oman College of Management and Technology, is committed to providing and maintaining a clean, productive, and comfortable working environment for its staff, students, visitors, and anyone who might be affected by its services. Roles

SSD Responsibilities

The department has a wide range of responsibilities including:

Completing all procedures pertaining to visits of formal delegations; e.g. reception and bidding farewell in the airport, obtaining entry visas, booking hotels and airplane seats, and providing necessary means of transport for them.

Making preparations and arrangements for conferences, symposium, meetings and formal parties organized by the college.

Receiving service provision/purchase orders and taking the necessary course of action in accordance with valid law and regulations, including soliciting, analyzing, and making relevant recommendations on tenders.

Supervising the college-owned and hired vehicles' drivers for student transport purposes; e.g. movement, maintenance, fuel consumption and insurance.

Supervising the college buildings and making necessary maintenance work, whenever necessary. Leasing the necessary premises for the college whenever necessary.

Supervising the cafeteria in terms of cleaning, diverse food and beverages served, and price control. Undertaking any relevant tasks to be assigned by the college's dean or assistant dean.

Please fill up the Maintenance Request Form. Or please call 2405 1016/2405 1031/2405 1043 to report any utility issues. Please be specific on the location, and please immediately report if there is a hazard (steam or gas leak, a large hole, electrical lines exposed, etc.).
A maintenance request is generally completed for maintenance/repair of building and systems including heating, air conditioning, ventilating, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems. A service request is generally completed for departmental equipment and special departmental equipment, installation of items such as pictures, and equipments or asking for furniture moving.
If you are one of the following departments (HR, TSD, SA, M&PR) please fill the form of purchase request form, if you are from other departments, please send an email of the requirements.
Fill out a Key Request Form for each individual requesting a key. For asking a master key the dean should sign the form.

Emergency calls are those that involve potential threat or damage to life and/or property (gas leak, fire alarms, water leaks, etc.). Routine calls are usually requests for services that can be scheduled (painting, light bulbs, keys, etc.)
