Overview
Definition and Scope
The Academic Support Services Committee (ASSC) is subordinated to the Academic Affairs Committee. The committee is mandated to plan, deploy, review all related issues to academic support services provided by the College to the students; library, academic, teaching and learning resources, and technologies. The committee is mandated to assist in achieving the institutional key performance indicators related to academic support services.
Responsibilities
Plan for the Academic Support Services in coordination with other departments, units, and offices in the college.
Make sure that the academic support services are in line with the national and international standards.
Provide training services to the students in the related topics, such as library catalogues, E-library, IT services, English language, etc.
Follow up the implementation of the plan.
Supervise the peer tutoring process.
Follow the academic advising process.
