Please be informed that the OCMT 2026 International Conference will now be held in fully online mode on the same scheduled dates: 29–30 April 2026.

This change has been made in consideration of the current situation in the region and the uncertainty surrounding travel and related arrangements, in order to ensure the safety, accessibility, and smooth participation of all presenters and attendees.

Reimbursement Notice

Participants who already registered and paid for physical attendance will be partially reimbursed. Their registration will automatically be treated as online participation. Further details will be communicated separately.

Online Participation

The conference continues on 29–30 April 2026 in a fully accessible online format via MS Teams. All registered participants will receive session links prior to the event.

Paper Submissions

Submissions and the conference program remain unchanged. All accepted papers will be presented online and published in Scopus indexed proceedings.

About The Conference

2nd International Research Conference for Smart Technologies and Sustainable Strategies in Design, Management, and Computing (OCMT'2026) aims to serve as a premier international platform that brings together academics, researchers, industry experts, and policymakers to explore and advance smart, ethical, and sustainable innovations across the fields of business, finance, design, computer science, cybersecurity, and higher education. Building on the momentum of OCMT's first international conference, this second edition is strategically aligned with the national priorities outlined in Oman Vision 2040—particularly in fostering a knowledge-based economy, accelerating digital transformation, and empowering human capital through research and education.

All papers must be submitted electronically through the official submission portal available at:

  • Each paper will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure quality, originality, and relevance to the conference themes.
  • Accepted papers must be presented online during the conference to qualify for publication in the conference proceedings.

Indexed Conference Proceedings

All accepted papers will be published in Scopus, Google Scholar, and SpringerLink indexed proceedings.

All papers accepted for OCMT'2026, following the double-blind peer-review process, will be published in the OCMT'2026 Conference Proceedings.

Journal Publication Opportunity

Selected high-quality papers will be considered for further development and potential publication in prestigious international journals of partner publishers — Springer and Emerald. Authors invited to extend their work will be expected to develop the paper by at least 40–50%. An invitation to submit does not guarantee publication.

Arabic Language Papers

To encourage regional research dissemination, Arabic-language papers that meet academic and technical requirements will also be published in the OCMT'2026 Conference Proceedings alongside English-language papers.
