In one of Oman’s most prominent artistic events, Oman College of Management and Technology (OCMT) made a remarkable appearance at the Muscat Art Exhibition 2025, held in the capital, Muscat. The college was proudly represented by two talented students, Jud Al-Hinai and Zulfa Al-Jahdhami, whose innovative artworks captivated audiences and reflected the vibrant spirit of Omani creativity and youth entrepreneurship.
Their pieces embodied a bold artistic vision that fused traditional Omani heritage with modern visual language, offering immersive, interactive art experiences that explored themes of identity, emotion, and transformation. According to the organizers, the exhibition featured more than 200 artists from 18 countries, showcasing a rich variety of techniques, media, and artistic expressions.
Hosted at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, the event dazzled visitors with a spectrum of colors and cutting-edge technologies such as augmented reality and digital art installations. These elements provided audiences with a deeper appreciation of how Omani identity can be expressed through the lens of contemporary art.
Speaking about her participation, Jud Al-Hinai said, “We wanted to paint a vision of Oman as we see it from within and share it with the world in our own artistic language.” Meanwhile, Zulfa Al-Jahdhami added, “Art is a bridge to the future; my paintings connect the past to the present, between memory and dream.”
The college expressed its pride in this distinguished participation, viewing it as a valuable contribution to its ongoing commitment to fostering artistic and creative excellence within higher education. The exhibition not only showcased the breadth of Omani artistic talent but also underscored the college’s role in empowering young creators to transcend conventional boundaries and present their visions to the world.
OCMT looks forward to seeing this experience serve as a foundation for the students’ future artistic journeys, inspiring them and others to continue their pursuit of innovation and creativity within both academic and community spheres in Oman.
